I'm ZAMAHEL
Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Animator, Concept & Comic Book artist based in Brazil Working as an independent, freelancer illustrator for over a decade, and drawing / making art for an even longer time
Most of my recent works portray or draw inspiration from the history and traditional cosmology of cultures from the American continent. I also draw influences from sci-fi, dark fantasy, nature and animals to create my original stories & characters.
I'm currently working on personal projects.

Hi there, are you a native Amazonian?
Hi! I'm not from the Amazonian forest (that covers part of what's nowadays eastern Peru and northwestern Brazil), but from a region in southeastern Brazil, once traditionally called Tapuiretama. Brazil is huge, and Nheçu wasn't actually an Amazonian, as he was from a place that's in nowadays Rio Grande do Sul, in the southernmost state of Brazil, very close to Argentina :)
That’s cool. I wrote a character based on Brazil and I wanted your feedback on her. She’s an anthro horse called Jarina.
