Description

Moctezuma Xocoyotzin ("Moctezuma the young") has been the last Tlatoani Cuetzpalin ("Lizard speaker" or "lizard king") of the Mexica Excan Tlahtoloyan (Triple Alliance) in Tenochtitlán. Born in 1469, his reign begun in 1502, and alongside the rulers of Texcoco and Tlacopan, as well with the counsels of his sister, Papantzin, the Mexica Confederation reached the maximum of its size. Moctezuma has engaged in battle with several enemies traditional to the Mexica, and during his reign the Cuetzpalin warriors have faced the 'Tupaq Chasqui', Vovin Riders coming from the south, led forth by the ruler of Tahuantinsuyu, Tupaq Yupanqui.

Like Papantzin, Moctezuma has been gifted with the power of achieving high speed, what has proved useful on battlefield. All that couldn't however prevent the fall of Tenochtitlán and the destruction of the Mexica Confederation with the incoming Spanish Conquerors, and their fire weapons. Tribes previously held as tribute payers to the Mexica have sided with the foreigner conquerors, to defeat their present oppression they counted on a future one. These tribes have sided with necromancers from the south to take down not only the Mexica power structure, but also to kill every last Cuetzpalin. The Spanish Conquerors were motivated to destroy all the Cuetzpalin species, because they were following higher orders that would want only 'humans' to populate colonies.

Moctezuma, in all his knowledge, couldn't grasp the interest of groups like the Church and the Jötunn, allied with the slavery forces of the hellish circles, or even the influent 'Neo Civilis' of the Occidental Society. "Dying" at the age of 54, his Kra Coatl form has been carried by a group of Mexica children which has installed themselves around the Bydl Lake of Ceboatl, in the island of Xoctepec, where it has remained in a state of hibernation until 2008, when he finally awoke, meeting Wilhelm, who'd be the "Cuetzpalin Paynal", waited with high esteem by the Huacastecs and Tepecs since the fall of Tenochtitlán.
